History

Osborn Metals SAS results of the merger in 2004 of two entities recognized for many years in the cold drawing of special shaped profiles and high performance steel tubes:

GAUTIER TROUSSEL, based in Longueville, in the Paris Region, was created in 1865 under the name of RAFFIN & DURAND.
It is the oldest French company still in activity, specialized in the cold drawing of tubes.
The name of the company became Gautier Troussel in 1956, when the families Gautier and Troussel became the owners and Directors.

Bujon was created in 1940 by Mr René Bujon in the Paris area and developed its business in the cold drawing of special profiles and tubes in its plant of Meaux in the East of Paris.

Bujon joined the English Osborn Metals ltd in 2001 and Gautier Troussel was bought by Osborn Metals in 2004

Since 2014, both activities have been merged into a single plant in Longueville, driving to:
  • a single company : Osborn Metals SAS
