This is the same base material which is sued in the GT1000 tubes.

The aeronautic requirements and the cleanliness gives to the GT1000 tubes a optimal level of quality in terms of homogeneity, strength, resilience and fatigue resistance.

The 25CrMo4 is a frequent grade used in motorsport. Osborn Metals has developped its own brand for these tubes.

Delivred in +SR condition (Stress Relief) this gives a good bending caapbility while keeping a high level of strength to reduce the weight of the roll cages.

The T45 tubes, or to be more precise tubes BS T45, BS T100, BS S100 are tubes with guaranteed Carbone and Manganese ratios.

The tubes have high mechanical characteristics with a very good weight/performance ratio that made them very popular in UK.

In motorsports, they are very well adapted to build roll cages as critical mechanical components.

Osborn Metals manufactures T45 tubes according to imperial and metric dimensions.

For diameters below 0.438″ (11.1mm), the name is T64 and no longer T64.
